Oversees the archival operations of the Arthur A. Wishart Library and Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre. This also includes serving as the Assistant Diocesan Archivist for the Anglican Diocese of Algoma Archives. Contributes to the development, management, and promotion of all archival holdings held at Algoma University. Responsible for educational, event, and outreach programming relating to the Shingwauk Historic Site and archives.

Responsible for collection management, digital collection development, administrative documentation, and donations.  Sets priorities for collection processing and digitization.  Acts as a representative of the Centre at community events, liaises with community stakeholders, and provides references services to patrons.  Responsible for site tours and assisting in the development of exhibits across campus.

Digitization Facilitator, Community Digitization Project, Knowledge Ontario, 2009-2010
Responsible for establishing sustainable digitization programs in the Near North/North Shore region of Ontario.  Acted as a liaison with over 15 cultural heritage organizations including: libraries, museums, archives, and tourism committees.  Responsible for policy creation and establishing proactive community outreach activities. Contributed to website set-up, digitization, documentation development, and program administration.

Volunteer, Multicultural History Society of Ontario, January 2013-2015
Volunteering with the Discovering Multicultural Ontario Digital Archive project.  Working remotely to transcribe audio recordings of oral history interviews. Transcription includes following a standardized format and creating accompanying metadata for each recording.  Also responsible for researching and writing biographies of interviewees.

Digitization Consultant, Knox Presbyterian Church, Alliston Ontario, 2009-2010
Working on a community based 150th anniversary commemoration project.  Responsible for outreach activities to promote contribution of photos and memorabilia to the project.  Provided guidance and made recommendations regarding digitization, preservation, and storage of photo collection.  Worked with a committee to digitize photos and documents which highlighted the church’s history.

Collections Volunteer, Canadian Museum of Nature, Summer 2009
Worked in the museum’s botany collection.  Responsible for mounting of specimen, digitization of specimen, organization of collection, assisted in processing research requests and general collection maintenance.

Collection Volunteer, Dufferin County Museum and Archives, 2007-2009
Worked with material belonging to museum, archive, and library collections. Updated collections database, updated inventories, performed minor conservation work, and accessioned new additions to the collection. Assisted in the creation of donation forms, tax receipts, and other administrative tasks.  Worked independently and as a member of a larger diverse group of volunteers.  Photographed artifacts, scanned documents, and altered images using Photoshop.
